2018 FIFA U-17 Women's WC qualifiers: Ghana "destroy" Djibouti 9-0 in 1st-leg match


Djibouti, Djibouti, Fébruary 3 (Infosplusgabon) - Visiting Ghana on Friday "destroyed" hosts Djibouti 9-0 in the first-leg, final African qualifier for the 2018 FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup Tournament which will take place in Uruguay from 13 November to 1 December.


In the match played at the El Hadj Hassan Gouled Aptidon Stadium, Djibouti, the Ghana goals came in torrents, including a hattrick from Mukarama Abdulai in the 40th, 42nd and 46th minutes. The other scorers were Suzzy Dede Teye in the 27th minute; Abigail Tutuawaa in the 44th; Jacqueline Owusu (48th); Fuseina Mumuni (78th); Milot Abena Pokua (79th) and Adama Alhassan (88th).


The second-leg will be played in Ghana on 18 February.


As the qualifiers continue, Nigeria will host Cameroon on Saturday and the South Africa vs Morocco match will take place on Sunday.
