Egyptian leader receives in audience Tanzanian prime minister

Cairo, Egypt, July 11 (Infosplusgabon) - Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi on Wednesday received in audience Tanzanian Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa, a spokesperson at the presidency said.

 

Present at the meeting were Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Medloubi and the Tanzanian minister of Agriculture, Charles John Tizeba.


The spokesperson for the Egyptian presidency, Bessam Radhi, said President Al-Sissi expressed Egypt’s pride with the excellent and historic relations with Tanzania.


The two countries celebrated this year the 55th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, the Egyptian president said, adding that Egypt desired to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries and make more effective the common cooperation mechanisms in all domains.


He pleaded for the strengthening of common investments and experience sharing in the domain of big projects in the interests of the two peoples.


The Tanzanian prime minister expressed his country’s desire to continue and strengthen the cooperation frameworks at higher levels, praising Egypt’s efficient participation in the achievement of infrastructure like bridges.


He also expressed the aspiration of his country to benefit from the Egyptian experience in the establishment of a new capital for Tanzania, like the new Egyptian administrative capital.


The head of the Tanzanian government praised the job done by the Egyptian partnership agency for development in terms of sessions of technical support contributing to the training of Tanzanian executives in several domains such as agriculture, water, police, diplomacy, health, justice and food industries.
